The Suratgarh–Bathinda railway line, also known as the Suratgarh–Shri Ganganagar–Bathinda line, is part of the North Western Railway and Northern Railway zones of Indian Railways. It spans 264 km and serves Bikaner division in Rajasthan and Fazilka, Sri Muktsar Sahib, and Bathinda districts in Punjab. The route includes two branch lines: one from Sarupsar Junction to Anupgarh (56 km) and another from Abohar Junction to Fazilka Junction (43 km).

The main line was originally constructed as a metre-gauge track by the Bikaner State Railway and Southern Punjab Railway in several phases. The first phase opened on 1 October 1925, followed by subsequent phases in 1926, 1927, 1897, and 1970. A branch line from Sarupsar Junction to Anupgarh was opened on 30 March 1929.

Conversion of the main line to broad gauge (5 ft 6 in) began in 1997–98 due to its strategic importance near the India-Pakistan border. The first phase of the conversion, between Shri Ganganagar and Sarupsar Junction, was completed on 9 June 2012, while the second phase, from Suratgarh to Anupgarh, opened on 25 July 2013. A new branch line connecting Abohar Junction and Fazilka Junction started construction in 2004 and was inaugurated on 12 July 2012.

Trains operating on this route include the Kochuveli–Shri Ganganagar Junction Express, Bikaner–Delhi Sarai Rohilla Superfast Express, Hazur Sahib Nanded–Shri Ganganagar Weekly Express, and Firozpur Cantonment–Shri Ganganagar Express.
