Semiramis Pekkan

Semiramis Pekkan (born September 30, 1948) is a Turkish actress and singer, known for her roles in cinema and music. She is the youngest daughter of a military officer father and housewife mother. Her acting career began with the film *Kara Memed* directed by Tunç Başaran. In 1965–1966, she performed as a guest actor at the Meydan Stage. Pekkan transitioned to music in 1968, releasing singles and albums under labels such as Columbia, Odeon, and Kervan. Her discography includes numerous singles and three studio albums: *Semiramis* (1970), *Semiramis* (1972), and *Semiramis* (1975). She received a Gold Record Award for her work in music.
