A rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) is a shoulder-fired rocket weapon that launches rockets with an explosive warhead. Most RPGs can be carried by an individual soldier, and are frequently used as anti-tank weapons. RPGs can often be used against lightly armored vehicles, like APC, armored cars and armored vehicles. Many RPGs can penetrate well-armored vehicles like tanks, but they're usually more difficult to use against heavily armored vehicles such as APCs and main battle tanks. RPGs with high-explosive anti- tank warheads are very effective against lightly-armoured vehicles suchas APCs, armored vehicles and armored cars. Many warheads are also capable of causing secondary damage to vulnerable targets such as sights, tracks and rear of turrets.
