Amir Masoud Boroumand (1928–2011) was an Iranian footballer known for his role as a striker and as the captain of Iran's national team during the 1950s. His club career began in 1945 with Shahbaz, the third team of Shahin, progressing to become a starter by 1947 until 1958. During his studies at Washington University, he played for the university's team, the Washington University Bears, winning both the Eastern USA Soccer League and Cup in 1958. He later studied at the American University of Beirut from 1959 to 1961, earning the nickname "the Iranian Prince."

Boroumand earned his first international cap for Iran in 1947 and captained the team throughout the 1950s, participating in the Asian Games in 1951 and 1958. He held academic achievements including a bachelor's degree in judicial law from the University of Tehran, a PhD in administrative management from Washington University, and further studies at the American University of Beirut, where he earned a master's degree. Beyond football, Boroumand was part of Shahin's Board of Directors from 1984 until his death.

He passed away on March 8, 2011, due to health complications in Tehran, and was buried at Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery. His career included notable achievements both in club football and international competitions, marking him as a significant figure in Iranian football history.
