Krasnoznamensk (Russian: Краснозна́менск) is a closed town located in Moscow Oblast, Russia, with a population of 43,868 as recorded in the 2021 Census. Previously known as Golitsyno-2 until 1994, it was granted town status in 1981. Administratively, it is classified as a closed administrative-territorial formation, holding the same status as districts within Moscow Oblast and forming part of the Krasnoznamensk Urban Okrug.
