Michael Joseph M. Barrett (1943–2021), known as Jo Jo Barrett, was an Irish Gaelic footballer and manager from Tralee, County Kerry. He began his career playing for Tralee CBS and joined the Kerry minor team before winning an All-Ireland Under-21 Championship in 1964. His senior debut came at 19 years old during the 1962 All-Ireland final against Roscommon. Barrett won multiple honours, including a National League title and four Munster Championships with Kerry. He later achieved club success with Austin Stacks, winning County Championships.

After retiring as a player, he managed Austin Stacks to an All-Ireland Club Championship in 1977. He also led Clara to an Offaly County Championship in 1991. His management career at Wexford ended controversially after a two-year suspension for striking a referee during a National League match.

Barrett, the son of six-time All-Ireland winner Joe Barrett, worked abroad before becoming a journalist for the Evening Herald. He passed away on July 17, 2021, in his home in Barrow, Ardfert, County Kerry.
