The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) is a heritage railway operating within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio. Established in the 1980s, it offers scenic excursions along a historic route that once served industries like steel and coal. The railroad primarily operates between Akron and Cleveland, with stops at various stations allowing passengers to explore the park's attractions.

CVSR uses both steam and diesel-electric locomotives, including vintage units from Grand Trunk Western and Canadian Pacific Railways, to provide themed excursions throughout the year. In addition to its main service, CVSR offers unique programs such as "Bike Aboard," where cyclists can ride one way on the train for a fee, and seasonal trips to Canton in partnership with the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway.

The railroad has faced several challenges, including safety incidents that have led to tragic accidents. Despite these issues, CVSR continues to expand its services, aiming to extend operations into Cleveland's city center as part of broader transportation plans.
