Club Deportivo Palestino, founded in Santiago, Chile on August 8, 1920, is a professional football club reflecting the city's Palestinian community. They compete in the Primera División and play their home games at Estadio Municipal de La Cisterna, which holds about 8,500 spectators.

The club transitioned to professional football in 1952 when they joined the Second Division, winning it to advance to the Primera División. They achieved their first league title in 1955 under coach Roberto Coll and earned the nickname "Millonario" for attracting top talent. In 1978, led by Elías Figueroa, they secured a second championship and set records, also winning the Copa Chile that year.

Facing financial struggles after becoming a registered company in 2004, the club narrowly avoided relegation in 2006. They reached the Clausura 2008 final but lost to Colo-Colo. Despite these challenges, they aim to list on stock exchanges and have faced criticism for political jersey designs, fined in 2014.

Palestino's honours include two Primera División titles (1955, 1978), three Copa Chile wins (1975, 1977, 2018), and two Primera B victories. In CONMEBOL competitions, they have multiple appearances but no major trophies.

The women's team competes in the top division and won the Clausura 2015 title, ending Colo-Colo's streak. Notable players include María José Urrutia, who scored Chile's first World Cup goal in 2019, and Javiera Toro.
