Clinton NJie

Clinton Mua N’Jie is a Cameroonian professional footballer born on May 25, 1993, known for his pace and dribbling ability. He plays as a forward or attacking midfielder and has competed for clubs across Europe and Asia.

N’Jie began his career at French club Lyon, where he earned comparisons to Cameroon's all-time leading scorer Samuel Eto'o due to his skillful play. After spells with Tottenham Hotspur in England, Marseille in France, Dynamo Moscow in Russia, and Sivasspor in Turkey, he joined Romanian club Rapid București in September 2024.

At the international level, N’Jie has represented Cameroon since his debut in 2014. He played a key role in the team’s victory at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and earned third place in the 2022 edition. Known for his ability to play off the front man or on the wing, N’Jie has been praised for his technical skills and composure in one-on-one situations.

His club honours include reaching the UEFA Europa League final with Marseille in 2018 and winning the Russian Cup with Dynamo Moscow in 2022.
