Andy Panko
Andrew John Panko III, born on November 29, 1977, is a former American professional basketball player who stands at 6'9". He played primarily as a small forward and power forward. After his high school career at Bishop McDevitt in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he continued his basketball journey at Lebanon Valley College. Panko began his professional career in 1999 with the New Mexico Slam of the International Basketball League (IBL). He made his NBA debut with the Atlanta Hawks in 2001, but only played one minute in a single game. From 2002 to 2003, he was part of the Dakota Wizards in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA), where he earned the CBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) title and All-CBA First Team honors. In July 2012, Panko signed with Panathinaikos of the Greek Basket League/EuroLeague. He was traded to Unicaja Malaga in December 2012 but left at the end of the season. In August 2013, he joined Baloncesto Fuenlabrada for the 2013–14 season and agreed to play another season with them in July 2014. In May 2015, he signed with Vaqueros de Bayamón of Puerto Rico. He moved to SLUC Nancy Basket in France in July 2015 but returned to Vaqueros de Bayamón in May 2016. In September 2016, Panko joined Fuerza Regia of Mexico and helped his team win the 2016–17 LNBP championship.
