Acolytes Protection Agency
The Acolytes were an American professional wrestling tag team who wrestled in the World Wrestling Federation between 1998 and 2004. Before forming the APA, Faarooq and Bradshaw were known simply as The A Colytes. They won two World Tag Team Championships in 1999, while feuding with X-Pac and Kane and the Hardy Boyz. In 2002, the brand split also split the duo as the 2002 draft sentFaarooq to SmackDown and Brad Shaw to Raw. The team reunited as a tag team in 2003, and as part of Bradshaw's heel turn Simmons was on-screen released by WWE in 2004. The duo has made sporadic appearances afterwards, mostly in a non-competing capacity, but have also appeared in a number of TV shows and movies. They are best known for their feud with The Hardys, who they defeated in a match on the July 5, 1999, episode of Raw. They have also been involved in a series of feuds with The Undertaker's Ministry of Darkness, including a fight on the January 11, 2000, episode on Raw.
