The 2010 Adelaide Sevens was a rugby sevens tournament held as part of the IRB Sevens World Series during the 2009–10 season. It took place from March 19 to 21 at the Adelaide Oval in South Australia. Samoa secured their second consecutive Cup victory, defeating the United States 38–10 in the final. The U.S. reached their first-ever Cup final, marking a significant upset. Samoa's win narrowed the gap behind series leaders New Zealand to just two points.

New Zealand, who were eliminated from the Cup competition by Samoa, won the Plate by defeating South Africa, the reigning series champions. England claimed the Bowl, and Japan won the Shield. The tournament featured teams divided into four pools of four, with each team playing others in their pool once. Points were awarded as follows: 3 for a win, 2 for a draw, and 1 for a loss. The top two teams from each pool advanced to the main competition quarter-finals, while the bottom two competed in the consolation rounds.

The knockout stage on the final day included finals for the Bowl, Plate, and Cup competitions. Key results included Samoa's dominance in the Cup final, New Zealand's consolation win in the Plate, and England and Japan securing victories in the Bowl and Shield, respectively.
