2006 Atlantic Hockey mens ice hockey tournament

The 2006 AHA Men's Ice Hockey Tournament was held from March 11 to March 18, 2006, marking the third edition of the event. The opening round games were played at home team campuses, while the semifinals and finals took place at Holy Cross's Hart Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. This tournament concluded with Holy Cross winning the championship, earning them an automatic bid to the 2006 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament. It was also the final year the AHA championship game was held at a non-neutral site.

The tournament featured three single-elimination rounds: quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals. In the quarterfinals, matchups were between (1) Holy Cross vs. (8) American International, (2) Mercyhurst vs. (7) Canisius, (3) Sacred Heart vs. (6) Connecticut, and (4) Bentley vs. (5) Army. The semifinals saw (1) Holy Cross face (6) Connecticut and (2) Mercyhurst against (4) Bentley. The championship game was between (1) Holy Cross and (4) Bentley, with Holy Cross emerging victorious.

The All-Tournament Team included Tony Quesada (G), Jaye Judd and Jamie Hunt (D), Tom Dickhudt, Pierre Napert-Frenette, and James Sixsmith (F). James Sixsmith of Holy Cross was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.
