196667 Regional Championship
The 1966–67 Regional Championship was the 25th season of Liga IV, Romania's fourth-tier football league. The competition featured regional championships across various areas, with winners advancing to the promotion play-offs for Divizia C.
In the Argeș Region, Metalul Pitești won the North Series and later the regional final. In the Banat Region, UM Timișoara secured victory in the South Series and the regional title. Politehnica Brașov triumphed in Series I of the Brașov Region to claim their championship.
TUG București won the Bucharest Municipal Championship, while Chimia Turnu Măgurele claimed the Bucharest Regional title. Gloria Bistrița dominated the Someș and Mureș Series in the Cluj Region, winning their regional final. Voința Oradea emerged victorious in the North and South Series of the Crișana Region.
Unio Satu Mare won the Someș and Gutin Series in the Maramureș Region, while Știința Târgu Mureș claimed the Mureș Regional title. Minerul Motru was crowned champion in Series I of the Oltenia Region, and Victoria Boboc won the East and West Series in the Ploiești Region.
These regional champions advanced to the promotion play-offs for Divizia C, with matches held between June and August 1967.
