LoanMart Field
LoanMart Field, formerly known as the Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter, is a baseball stadium located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. It serves as the home field for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes minor league baseball team and was opened on April 3, 1993, with a seating capacity of 6,588. The stadium broke several attendance records during its early years, including surpassing the California League record in 1994.
Construction began in November 1991, costing over $20 million. The San Bernardino Spirit, later renamed the Quakes, moved into the stadium in 1993 after affiliating with the San Diego Padres. The first game was played on April 8, 1993, against the High Desert Mavericks.
In recent years, the Quakes were sold to Brett Sports & Entertainment in 2011 and formed a partnership with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The stadium, part of a 52-acre sports complex, has hosted various events, including concerts and community festivals. In 2013, LoanMart signed a ten-year sponsorship deal, renaming the ballpark LoanMart Field.
Improvements to the stadium include seat replacements in 2008–2009, adding cup holders and padded seating, and clubhouse renovations before the 2012 season. The left field bleachers were replaced with a batting cage area in 2013. Other sponsors include Allstar KIA, Budweiser, and others.
