Amechanical bioweapon with superhuman strength and other abilities. First of Hirohiko Araki's series to display signature gore. Created by Doress, a lab that genetically alters its hosts to become Baoh. One of the children is a psychic girl called Sumire. The series was adapted into a single-episode original video animation. It was released in 1989 by Toho. It has since become one of the most popular works of Japanese popular culture. The first issue of the comic is out now. It is available in English. In Japan, the Japanese edition is only available in volume 10. An English edition of this book is also available. It contains a bonus insert for this edition of the issue. It cannot be printed online without the insert.
