"Our Blues" is a 2022 South Korean television series produced by Studio Dragon, directed by Kim Gyu-tae, and written by Noh Hee-kyung. The drama is an omnibus format that explores the lives of ordinary people in Jeju Island's oil field area, focusing on 14 main characters and their interconnected stories. It premiered on April 27, 2022, on tvN and was also available on Netflix.
The series features a star-studded cast, including Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-a, Cha Seung-won, Han Ji-min, and Kim Woo-bin, who returned to television after a six-year hiatus. The show is set in the fictional village of Pureung and revolves around various characters at different life stages.
Production began in Jeju Island in October 2021, with 70% of filming taking place there. However, filming was temporarily halted in February 2022 due to Lee Byung-hun testing positive for COVID-19. The series consists of 20 episodes and is noted for its emotional depth and realistic portrayal of everyday life.
