Hannah Williams (1911–1973) was an American actress, singer, and comedian known for her work in vaudeville, Broadway, and music. Born in Taylor, Pennsylvania, she began performing at a young age with her sister Dorothy as "The Williams Sisters," a popular singing and dancing act. They performed with various orchestras, including the Ben Pollack Orchestra, and recorded songs like 'He's The Last Word' and 'Nothing Else Matters Anymore' for Victor Records in 1926.

In 1930, Hannah achieved significant recognition on Broadway in "Sweet and Low," where she sang the hit song "Cheerful Little Earful." She married Roger Wolfe Kahn in 1931 and later appeared in the film "The Audition" (1933) before divorcing Kahn. In 1935, her second husband, Jack Dempsey, opened a restaurant on Broadway.

After a hiatus due to family commitments, Hannah resumed her career post-divorce from Dempsey in 1943, performing at nightclubs like New York's Riobamba. She recorded with Tommy Dorsey and his orchestra in 1947, releasing two songs on RCA Victor.

Hannah's personal life included marriages to Charles Kaley (her first marriage), Jack Dempsey, and Thomas J. Monaghan. She had two children, Joan and Barbara, with Dempsey. Her career and relationships are documented in works like "Moanin' Low: A Discography of Female Popular Vocal Recordings" and other biographical studies.
