East Quogue is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Southampton, Suffolk County, on Long Island, New York. The population was 4,757 as of the 2010 census. Originally settled in 1673 as Fourth Neck, East Quogue attempted to incorporate as a village in the 2010s but failed when residents voted against it in 2019.

The CDP spans 11.5 square miles (29.9 km²), with 8.9 square miles (23.0 km²) of land and 2.7 square miles (7.0 km²) of water, accounting for 23.23% of its area.

In the 2000 census, East Quogue had a population of 4,265, with a density of 414.2 inhabitants per square mile (159.9/km²). The racial makeup was predominantly White (95.26%), with smaller percentages for African American, Asian, and other groups. Hispanic or Latino individuals made up 5.39% of the population.

Households numbered 1,660, with 31.9% raising children under 18. The median household income was $57,441, and the median family income was $67,734. Males earned a higher median income ($50,652) than females ($37,115). About 3.5% of families and 5.4% of the population lived below the poverty line.

The age distribution showed 24.2% under 18, 6.1% aged 18–24, 29.8% aged 25–44, 27.0% aged 45–64, and 12.9% aged 65 or older. The median age was 39 years. Notable individuals include Laura Branigan, a musician.
