"Lejla," performed by Hari Mata Hari, represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006. The song was composed and written by Željko Joksimović, who had been a runner-up in the 2004 contest for Serbia and Montenegro. Co-writers included Fahrudin Pecikoza and Dejan Ivanović. BHT 1, the country's broadcaster, internally selected both the song and the performer to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The song was first performed during the semi-final in Athens on 9 February 2006, where it received 267 points, placing second out of 23 entries and qualifying for the final. In the final, held on 15 May 2006, "Lejla" was performed thirteenth and earned 229 points, securing third place in a field of 24. This achievement marked Bosnia and Herzegovina's highest ranking at Eurovision to date, surpassing their previous best of seventh place in 1999.

The performance featured Hari Mata Hari and her band wearing white suits, with a notable moment where they linked arms and walked toward the front of the stage during the final bridge. The song also won the journalists' award for best composition at the contest.
