Edward Frank Danowski (September 30, 1911 – February 1, 1997) was an American football player and coach. He played quarterback and halfback for the New York Giants from 1934 to 1941, leading them to four NFL Championship games during his tenure. Despite limited statistical records, Danowski was a key figure, with the Giants only losing one season he was part of. His standout performance came in 1935 when he achieved league highs in touchdowns and passer rating.

Born in Aquebogue, New York, to Polish immigrant Anton Danowski, Edward attended Fordham University. After retiring from football, he coached at Fordham from 1946 to 1954, compiling a 29–44–3 record. His coaching efforts included leading the team to a No. 20 ranking in the AP poll in 1949.

Danowski's family includes his son, John, a lacrosse coach at Duke University, and grandson Matt, a former professional lacrosse player. He was inducted into the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame in 1991.
