Bryce Ives, born on November 11, 1983, in Ballarat, holds multiple artistic director positions: at Theatre Works in St. Kilda, Fairfax Festival in Murray Mallee, and as Co-Artistic Director of Present Tense Ensemble alongside Nathan Gilkes. In 2019, he became Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for Torrens University Australia and Media Design School NZ under Laureate International Universities.

Ives has significantly contributed to youth-generated media, notably as Executive Producer of ABC Radio's Heywire project and as General Manager and President of the Student Youth Network in Melbourne. He has facilitated the annual Heywire Regional Youth Summit in Canberra since 2008, marking his eleventh summit in 2018.

In 2017, Ives directed a music clip in Ballarat supporting marriage equality, involving local students, musicians, and community members. His agricultural contributions include facilitating the AgriFutures Horizon Scholarship program since 2010, leading the National Farmers Federation's Talking 2030 initiative to achieve $100 billion for Australian agriculture by 2030, and actively participating as a facilitator and MC at EvokeAG, Australia's premier AgTech summit. In 2023, he authored a report on young people's perceptions of Australian agriculture for AgriFutures Australia.

Recognized for his contributions, Ives was named Ballarat's Young Citizen of the Year in 2002.
