Samuel Peter Acosta Larsen, born on August 28, 1991, is an American actor and singer known for his role as Joe Hart on the TV show *Glee*. He won The Glee Project reality competition in 2011, leading to his recurring role on the Fox series. Larsen is also a member of the band Bridges I Burn and has pursued a solo career, releasing his debut EP, *Vices*, in 2014.

Larsen grew up playing various instruments and graduated from Murrieta Valley High School in 2009. He auditioned for American Idol in 2010 but did not advance to the semi-finals. After moving to Los Angeles, he busked and applied for *The Glee Project*, where he won the competition. Larsen formed Bridges I Burn with bandmate Skip Arnold, later adding Salvatore Spinelli as a third member.

He appeared in multiple episodes of *Glee* across seasons and mentored contestants on *The Glee Project*’s second season. Larsen also toured with the rock band Palaye Royale from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, he was cast as Zed Evans in the film adaptation of Anna Todd’s novel *After*, which was released in 2019, and reprised the role in its 2020 sequel.

Larsen’s discography includes singles and EPs such as *Pocket Love* (2012), *3 Blind Costumes* (2013), *Vices* (2014), and *Blue* (2017). His television work also includes appearances on *Glee* and the film adaptation of *After*.
