Nexperia, headquartered in Nijmegen, Netherlands, is a leading semiconductor manufacturing company owned by Wingtech Technology, which is partially state-owned by China. The company operates front-end factories in Hamburg, Germany, and Greater Manchester, England, alongside assembly and testing facilities in Asia. Nexperia's product portfolio includes transistors, diodes, ESD protection devices, MOSFETs, logic devices, TVS diodes, LED drivers, IGBTs, and e-Fuses.

Historically, Nexperia originated from Philips' semiconductor division and underwent several ownership changes before being acquired by Wingtech in 2018 for $3.6 billion. Notable events include supplying chips to Russian military despite sanctions and a ransomware attack in March 2024. The company has expanded its product range through acquisitions, such as Inmos and Nowi, which introduced energy-efficient and SiC/GaN technologies.

Nexperia is committed to sustainability, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2035, and has a low ESG risk rating. They support the UN Global Compact and engage in corporate social responsibility initiatives. The company also sponsors NEC Nijmegen football club and the TeamNL House initiative at the Paralympics.
