Captrain France (formerly VFLI) is a French freight rail company established in 1998 as a subsidiary of SNCF's Rail Logistics Europe to operate low-cost short-line and industrial railways. Initially, it took over the operations of two railway systems: Voies Ferrées des Landes (VFL) and Mines Dominiales de Potasse d'Alsace.

In 2000, VFLI formed a joint venture with Compagnie des chemins de fer départementaux (CFD) to operate the Avallon-Autun railway line. By 2001, it expanded its operations through a subsidiary, VFLI Cargo, on the Houllières du Bassin de Lorraine (HBL). The company was involved in constructing LGV Est via its subsidiary Fertis until 2007 when it gained certification to operate across France's national railway network.

By 2008, VFLI provided services to around forty industrial sites, including clients such as Rhodia, Arkema, Arcelor, Renault, and Lafarge. It also handled waste transport from the Protires plant in Strasbourg and worked on port operations. In January 2021, VFLI rebranded as Captrain France.

As of 2012, its operations include mainline freight rail, industrial site rail services, infrastructure train haulage, and short-haul activities, including port railways. Mainline freight accounted for nearly two-thirds of its turnover in 2011, generating €67.7 million.

In terms of rolling stock, Captrain France owned approximately 100 diesel locomotives and 800 wagons as of 2010. The company also operated rolling stock workshops for maintenance and refurbishment.
