Chandra Parbat I is a mountain in the Garhwal Himalaya of Uttarakhand, India, standing at 6,739 meters (22,110 ft), making it the 42nd highest peak entirely within the state. It lies on the eastern bank of the Suralaya Glacier and is bordered by Chandra II to the northwest and Chandra III to the south. Notable neighboring peaks include Satopanth (7,075 m), Vasuki South (6,702 m), Swachhand Peak (6,721 m), and Bhgirathi Massif.

The mountain was successfully climbed by an eight-member Australian team on September 25, 1994. They established base camps below Vasuki Parbat and advanced towards the summit via the northwest face, reaching it at 5:45 a.m.

Chandra Parbat I is surrounded by glaciers, including the Suralaya Glacier to the west and Sweta Bamak to the east, both merging with the Chaturangi Glacier. This glacier system connects to the Gangotri Glacier, forming the river Bhagirathi, a primary tributary of the Ganges.

Other nearby peaks are Mana Parbat I (6,794 m), Mana Parbat II (6,771 m), Kalindi peak (6,102 m), and Pilapani Parbat (6,796 m).
