George Mansel Nicholson (1874–January 16, 1963) was a justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court from 1921 to 1927, serving as chief justice in 1925-1927. Born in Riley County, Kansas, he was the son of George E. Nicholson, a Methodist minister, and Ida Carpenter. His family moved to Riley County shortly before his birth. He quit school at 15 to work as a farm hand while reading law in Thomas Beery's office, passing the bar in 1894.

Nicholson practiced law until 1898, moving to Lincoln, Nebraska, and then to Sulphur, Oklahoma, by 1903. Before Oklahoma statehood in 1907, he was City Attorney of Sulphur. He acquired 4,000 acres across multiple counties and lived in Sulphur with his four children.

Appointed as Associate Justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court in 1922, he served in District 2 until 1927, becoming chief justice in 1925-1927. After retiring, he practiced law in Oklahoma City until 1959.

In his personal life, Nicholson married Julia Sheldon in 1903 and Edith Cole in 1927 after Julia's death in 1919. He died at home in Oklahoma City, survived by Edith.

Nicholson was a member of the Murray County Bar Association, Oklahoma State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Methodist Church, and Republican Party.
