Sean Osborn, born in 1966, is a distinguished clarinetist known for his tenure with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and as a substitute in the Seattle Symphony. He studied under notable instructors including Stanley Hasty, Frank Kowalsky, and Eric Mandat.

As a clarinetist, he has won The American Prize in instrumental performance (2017–18) and is recognized for his solo and chamber performances globally. He has played as guest principal clarinet with prestigious orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic and the Pittsburgh Symphony.
