Tinkoff Credit Systems cycling team

Tinkoff Credit Systems was a professional continental cycling team based in Italy, funded by Russian businessman Oleg Tinkov and holding UCI Professional Continental status. The team originated from the 2006 Russian outfit Tinkoff Restaurants, led by Alexander Kuznetsov, with eight riders transitioning to Tinkoff Credit Systems: Pavel Brutt, Ilya Chernetskiy, Mikhail Ignatiev, Serguei Klimov, Anton Mindlin, Ivan Rovny, Alexander Serov, and Nikolai Trusov. In January 2007, the Italian Ambassador to Russia supported their formation, highlighting cycling's significance in Italy.

Stefano Feltrin was the general manager, with Omar Piscina as team manager and others assisting. Tinkoff Credit Systems secured wildcard entries into major ProTour races, including the 2007 Giro d'Italia. The team disbanded in 2008, replaced by Team Katusha, while using Colnago bicycles with Campagnolo components.

In December 2013, Tinkov acquired Team Saxo-Tinkoff from Bjarne Riis, renaming it Tinkoff-Saxo for the 2014 season. The team achieved notable successes, including stage wins in the Giro d'Italia, Tirreno–Adriatico, Tour Méditerranéen, Langkawi, and Georgia, along with various classifications.
