Lost Toys

Lost Toys Ltd., a British video game developer established in March 1999 by Glenn Corpes, Jeremy Longley, and Darran Thomas—formerly of Bullfrog Productions—was founded after their disillusionment with Electronic Arts' acquisition of Bullfrog. Les Edgar provided financial support to the company, which aimed to maintain small teams for creative freedom.

Lost Toys developed two games: Ball Breakers (known as MoHo in Europe) and Battle Engine Aquila. Ball Breakers was released in August 2000 by Take Two Interactive under Rockstar for PlayStation, with subsequent PC and Sega Dreamcast versions. It received praise for its style and design. Battle Engine Aquila was launched in January 2003 on Xbox and PlayStation 2 by Infogrames, with deals for enhanced versions and PC releases.

In May 2003, Lost Toys partnered with Geoff Crammond's Simergy to develop Stunt Car Racer Pro, but the project was canceled when the company closed on October 2, 2003. Crammond noted that the game reached a working demo stage. Despite their limited lifespan, Lost Toys left an impact with their innovative titles and approach to game development.
