Bhimkanari

Bhimkanari is a census town in Jharkhand, India, located at coordinates 23.800689°N and 86.191389°E. It falls within the Baghmara CD block of Dhanbad district and is part of the undulating uplands known for coalmines. The Damodar River, a significant river in the Chota Nagpur Plateau, borders the region. As of the 2011 Census, Bhimkanari had a population of 5,170, with 2,722 males and 2,448 females, and a literacy rate of 84.57%.

The town has an area of 1.59 km² and is 40 km from Dhanbad district headquarters. The nearest railway station is Khanudih (0.5 km away), and buses are available at Baghmara (1 km away).
