2018 MPBL finals

The 2018 MPBL Anta-Rajah Cup finals were the championship series of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League's inaugural 2018 season, with the Batangas City Athletics defeating the Muntinlupa Cagers, 3–1. Val Acuña was named the inaugural MPBL Finals MVP. Batangas City, the first seed with an 8–1 record, had homecourt advantage over third-seeded Muntinlupa (6–3). As of 2023, this remains the only finals appearance for both teams.

In Game 1, Tey Teodoro scored 20 points and Val Acuña added 14 to lead Batangas to a victory. The game was tied at 64-all before Teodoro's free throw and jump shot sealed a four-point win. In Game 2, Jaymo Eguilos' jumper extended Batangas' lead to 9, but Muntinlupa rallied late, only to fall short as Batangas took a 2–0 series lead.

Game 3 saw Batangas suffer its first loss since March, despite cutting a 15-point deficit to just two in the final moments. Dave Moralde's jumper helped Muntinlupa extend their lead and force a Game 4. In the decisive Game 4, Muntinlupa faced a do-or-die situation. After trailing early, they staged a 10-0 run to take the lead, but Pari Llagas missed crucial free throws in the final seconds, allowing Batangas to secure their first MPBL Championship.

The finals were aired on ABS-CBN Sports and Action and livestreamed via Facebook Live. Trophy presentation and awarding ceremonies were handled by Kyla Realubit.
