200910 CCHL season
The 2009–10 Central Canadian Hockey League (CCHL) season was the only season for this league, which featured 21 teams across two divisions. Each team played 50 regular-season games, with the top eight from each division advancing to playoffs for the league championship. The playoff champion competed against the Ontario Junior A Hockey League's champion for the Buckland Cup, and the winner advanced to the Dudley Hewitt Cup against other regional champions.
Following the season, the CCHL re-merged with the Ontario Junior A Hockey League to reform the Ontario Junior Hockey League. Key changes included renaming the Central Division to the CCHL and team relocations with name changes for the Toronto Dixie Beehives (now Etobicoke's Dixie Beehives) and Upper Canada Hockey Club (now Upper Canada Patriots).
Playoff highlights saw the Oakville Blades defeat the Newmarket Hurricanes 4–2 in the Buckland Cup final. The season also recognized award winners, including Josh Jooris as the overall top scorer and Kori Coelho as the Eastern Conference MVP. NHL draft picks included Alexander Guptill (Dallas Stars), Julian Melchiori (Atlanta Thrashers), and Zach Hyman (Florida Panthers).
