Doug Greig (16 March 1928 – 9 March 2003) was a Canadian soccer player who played for several teams, most notably Vancouver Firefighters FC, with whom he competed in the 1961 Canadian final. He was Canada's starting left half during the 1957 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and later became an honoured member of the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame. Greig won six Pacific Coast League championships with four different teams between 1949–50 and 1962–63, including two titles with Vancouver Firefighters FC (1954–55 and 1961–62), one with Vancouver St. Andrews FC (1949–50), one with Westminster Royals FC (1956), and two with Vancouver City FC (1958 and 1962–63). He was an all-star selection in ten seasons from 1950 to 1963. As a teenager, Greig won the Ed Bayley Trophy in 1946–47 as BC Soccer's most outstanding player. He began his senior career with North Shore United before joining Vancouver St. Andrews FC, following in the footsteps of his father and two brothers. In 1949–50, he won his first Pacific Coast League championship alongside brother Jimmy. In 1953, Greig helped Westminster Royals FC win the Jack Diamond Trophy in a North American championship match against the Chicago Falcons. During the 1960–61 season, he contributed to Firefighters FC's Mainland League and Province Cup victories but lost the Carling Cup final to Montreal Concordia FC. The following season, Firefighters FC secured multiple championships, including the Anderson Cup, Province Cup, and Pacific Coast International Championship for the J.F. Kennedy Trophy.
