The 1933 Edmonton municipal election took place on November 8, 1933, to elect a mayor and five aldermen for City Council, as well as four trustees each for the public and separate school boards. At the time of the election, some positions were already filled due to previous terms: Charles Gibbs, John Wesley Fry, James Ogilvie, James East, and John McCreath remained on City Council, while Mrs. E G Ferris, Frederick Casselman, Samuel Barnes, Adrien Crowe (SS), J O Pilon, and W D Trainor continued in their roles as trustees.

The voter turnout was 48.7%, with 21,730 ballots cast out of 44,603 eligible voters. The Labour Party secured four out of the five alderman seats up for election, marking a significant achievement for the party. Margaret Crang became the second woman elected to Edmonton City Council during this election.

For the school boards, the public school board had seven trustees with three positions already filled, and the separate school board had four trustees with three incumbents. Under the minimum South Side representation rule, Frank Tansey was elected over Daniel Conroy for one of the trustee positions.

A plebiscite regarding the amalgamation of health services under the Board of Health was also held. A total of 11,660 voters supported the proposal (Yes), while 7,971 opposed it (No).
