The Tata Aria is a full-size crossover SUV produced by Tata Motors in India. Launched on 5 January 2010 at Auto Expo in Delhi and available to customers from 12 October 2010, it had an initial price of 10.4 lakhs INR (approximately $16k-$17k USD). Based on the Tata Xover concept showcased at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, the Aria was later succeeded by the Tata Hexa in 2016, which featured a new design and improved features.

The Tata Aria combined elements of an MPV, sedan, and SUV, offering three seating rows with configurations for 7 or 8 passengers. It included advanced features such as a 3D surround sound system, GPS navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, and safety innovations like six airbags, ABS, ESP, and a robust chassis frame.

Powered by Tata's in-house developed 2.2L Varicor diesel engine, the Aria delivered 150 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and optional four-wheel drive. The vehicle's design was collaborative with Jaguar-Land Rover and met European safety standards, making it suitable for both Indian and international markets.

Additionally, Tata introduced concept cars named Aria in 2000, including a two-seater coupe convertible and later the Aria Coupe, which featured styling from Italy and proposed petrol engines ranging from 1.6 to 2.0 liters.
