Oleg Yevenko

Aleh Yevenka, also known as Oleg Yevenko, is a Belarusian former professional ice hockey defenseman, born on 21 January 1991. He played two seasons with the Fargo Force in the USHL and was recognized for his defensive skills and fighting abilities. Yevenko then joined the UMass Minutemen for collegiate hockey before signing an amateur try-out contract with the Adirondack Flames of the AHL in 2014, where he went scoreless in four games.

In 2015, he signed a one-year contract with the Lake Erie Monsters and earned a two-way NHL contract after impressing during training camp. However, after his entry-level contract expired, Yevenko was not offered an extension by the Blue Jackets. He subsequently returned to the Calgary Flames organization, signing with their AHL affiliate, the Stockton Heat, in 2017. That season, he played 23 games for the Heat, recording three assists.

Yevenko ended his North American career by joining HC Dinamo Minsk in the KHL as a free agent in 2018. He later moved to Traktor Chelyabinsk in 2020 and signed with HC Spartak Moscow in 2021. Internationally, Yevenko represented Belarus at the 2014 IIHF World Championship.
