Mark Ryan actor

Mark Ryan is an English actor, author, singer, and action director. He portrayed Mr. Gates in the Michael Bay/Starz production of the pirate show Black Sails. He also played Nasir in the British TV series Robin of Sherwood. Ryan is known for his work for the Transformers film franchise. He is also the voice of Bumblebee in the Activision video game based on the film. He has also appeared in several major musicals in London's West End, spending four years in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Evita in the role of Magaldi. He left Evita to play Mac in the SAS action film Who Dares Wins for director Ian Sharp. Ryan also voices Ironhide and Hoist in the film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. He returned to voice Bumblefire as well as Jetfire in the sequel, Transformers: The Last Knight. He appeared in the video to the Gary Moore single Over the Hills and Far Away from the Wild Frontier on his album Matador. He played U.S. actor Eric Idle in Eric Idle Exploits Monty Python at venues including New York's Carnegie Hall.
