Joachim "Blacky" Fuchsberger was a German actor and television host. He was best known to a wide German-speaking audience as one of the recurring actors in various Edgar Wallace movies. In the English-speaking world, he was sometimes credited as Akim Berg or Berger. His son, Thomas, drowned on October 14, 2010, in Kulmbach, Germany. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the FIFA Women's World Cup and co-patron of the UNICEF Women's Cup in 2011. He died on September 11, 2014, at the age of 90. He had a son,Thomas, with his second wife, Gundula Korte, who he married in 1954. He also has a son with his third wife, Gitta Lind, from whom he divorced in 1951. He has a daughter, Emma, who was born on September 14, 1998, in Düsseldorf. He and his son Thomas have a son called Thomas Fuchsberg, who is also an actor and has appeared in several Edgar Wallace films.
