Frederick Alvin Daugherty (August 18, 1914 – April 7, 2006) served as a United States district judge for three districts in Oklahoma: Eastern, Northern, and Western. Born in Oklahoma City, he earned a Bachelor of Laws from Cumberland University in 1933. After practicing law privately from 1937 to 1940, he joined the U.S. Army as a Commanding Officer from 1940 to 1946. He returned to private practice until 1950, then re-enlisted in the Army until 1952 before practicing law again until 1955. From 1955 to 1961, he was a judge in Oklahoma's Seventh Judicial District.

In 1961, President John F. Kennedy recess-appointed Daugherty as a federal judge for the three Oklahoma districts, effective October 5, 1961. He was formally nominated on January 15, 1962, confirmed by the Senate on February 7, and commissioned on February 17, 1962. Daugherty served as Chief Judge of the Western District from 1972 to 1982 and of the Eastern District from 1973 to 1975. He assumed senior status on January 12, 1982, and later served on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court from 1981 to 1988 and the Temporary Emergency Court of Appeals until 1993. His service concluded with his death on April 7, 2006.
