Ameinu, a left-wing American Jewish Zionist organization established in 2004, emerged as the successor to the Labor Zionist Alliance and traces its roots to Poale Zion founded in 1906. It is linked to the Israeli Labor Party and focuses on fostering Jewish-Arab relations through projects in Israel. By 2022, Ameinu had a staff of one-and-a-half people and an annual income of $357,000. In February 2024, it merged with Americans for Peace Now (APN) to form the New Jewish Narrative.

Ameinu collaborates with Israeli organizations like NISPED and Yedid to promote economic development and community empowerment in Israel. Politically, Ameinu advocates for diplomacy, negotiations, and a Palestinian state, emphasizing US leadership in peace efforts. It opposes military force and has supported initiatives such as the Geneva Accord and Annapolis Peace Conference. The organization also condemns actions like Kevin McCarthy's plan to remove Ilhan Omar from her committee.

Ameinu funds youth movements and student organizations, including Habonim Dror North America and the Union of Progressive Zionists. It is a member of major Jewish umbrella groups, including AIPAC, and works closely with its affiliate in Australia.
