The 2022 ToyotaCare 250 was a stock car race held on April 2, 2022, at Richmond Raceway in Henrico County, Virginia. It served as the seventh event of the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series and marked the 35th running of the race. The track is a 0.75-mile D-shaped oval known for its high speeds and multiple racing grooves, making it a favorite among drivers and fans. The Dash 4 Cash participants were A.J. Allmendinger, Austin Hill, Noah Gragson, and Sam Mayer, who finished in the top five at Circuit of the Americas.

Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing won the race by overtaking teammate John Hunter Nemechek on the final lap. This victory was Gibbs' seventh career Xfinity Series win and his third of the season. Nemechek secured second place, while Sam Mayer of JR Motorsports finished third and claimed the Dash 4 Cash award by leading the eligible drivers.

The race consisted of 250 laps divided into three stages: 75, 75, and 100 laps respectively. Gibbs also dominated qualifying with a lap time of 22.161 seconds at 121.836 mph, securing the pole position. He led practice as well, setting the fastest time of 22.867 seconds at 118.074 mph.
