Tim Carl Erixon, born on February 24, 1991, in Port Chester, New York, is an American-born Swedish professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for Timrå IK in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). The son of former NHL player Jan Erixon, Tim began his hockey career at five years old in Skellefteå, Sweden. Known as a two-way defenseman with offensive skills, he was selected 23rd overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft but refused to sign due to concerns about making the roster.

In 2011, the Flames traded Erixon to the New York Rangers for future draft picks. He made his NHL debut with the Rangers on October 7, 2011, and had several shuttles between the team and its AHL affiliate, the Connecticut Whale. After a successful stint with the Whale, he was recalled by the Rangers in December 2011.

Erixon's career included multiple trades: to the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2014 as part of a deal for Rick Nash, then to the Chicago Blackhawks on December 14, 2014. He was placed on waivers and claimed by the Toronto Maple Leafs in March 2015. On July 1, 2015, he was involved in another major trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins as part of a package that included Phil Kessel.

After eight seasons in North America, Erixon returned to Sweden in 2019, signing a two-year contract with the Växjö Lakers. Internationally, he represented Sweden at the 2009 World Junior Championships, winning a silver medal.
