Marion C. Greene, born on July 16, 1970, serves as a Hennepin County commissioner for District 3 and previously represented Minnesota House of Representatives District 60A, which covers parts of Minneapolis in Hennepin County. A Democrat, she worked as a health policy analyst at St. Jude Medical. First elected to the House in 2010, Greene served on committees including Government Operations and Elections, State Government Finance, and the Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Subcommittee for Legacy Funding. Redistricting placed her in competition with Frank Hornstein in District 61A; without party endorsement, she did not pursue re-election.

Greene grew up outside the U.S., as her parents served in the Foreign Service. She attended Westtown School, where she was co-class president of the Class of 1988, and later Swarthmore College. Moving to Washington, D.C., she joined the Center for Science in the Public Interest and then the Friends Committee on National Legislation. In the mid-1990s, she worked for New Mexico's Democratic Party and as an analyst for the state House Voters and Elections Committee.

After earning her MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, Greene moved to the Twin Cities. She held marketing roles at Pillsbury and General Mills before transitioning into the medical device industry with Guidant and St. Jude Medical.
