Hong Kong Eastern

The Eastern Sports Club, also known as Hong Kong Eastern (東方男籃), is a professional men's basketball team based in Hong Kong. It competes in the Hong Kong A1 Division and has been part of the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) since 2016. The team has won three Hong Kong A1 championships, in 1956, 2017, and 2023.

The club's history includes its promotion to the Hong Kong A1 Division after winning the A2 Division Championship in 2015. It became fully professional in 2016 and joined the ABL, where it won the league title in the 2016–17 season. The team also secured the Hong Kong A1 championship in 2018. However, the 2019–20 ABL season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and is set to resume in 2023.

In 2024, Eastern won its second A1 championship and joined the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) as a guest team for the 2024–25 Commissioner's Cup. The team simultaneously competed in the Hong Kong A1 Division Championship and the East Asia Super League during that year.

The team's home arena is Southern Stadium, which it has used since 2016. Its current roster includes players participating in the 2024-25 East Asia Super League and the PBA Commissioner's Cup. The club also maintains past rosters but does not provide specific details about notable players or their achievements beyond general categories like local and imported players.
